What the heck is a podcast?

A podcast is essentially a radio show distributed over the internet. The best part is that you don't have to sit there and listen as it plays. Podcasts are made to be downloaded and listened to wherever and whenever you like.

Podcast episodes are downloaded as MP3 files, which can be played by nearly any computer or portable media device.

How do I listen?

Three options:

1. Subscribe.
The most popular way of subscribing to podcasts is through iTunes. If you don't have iTunes, you can use any number of free podcatchers. Enter the url of the podcast feed (usually marked with and XML or RSS icon) you want to listen to, and the podcatcher will automatically download any new episodes as they become available.

2. Listen directly from our site.
In our show notes archive, you'll see a little "play" icon below each episode. This opens a small flash player which allows you to listen to the show directly from your web browser.

3. Download directly from our site.
Also in our show notes archive, you'll see a link that says "download." Click there and save the file wherever you like.

Listen to the files on your computer, or transfer them to a portable media player such as an iPod, Pocket PC, or generic MP3 player.
